Brad Faegre Biography
Brad Faegre was born in California in 1956. Many saw his artistic potential from a young age, but it was not until an art class in junior high where he discovered his skill. Faegre eventually received a degree in Fine Art from California State University, Fullerton. In 1986 he visited the Grand Canyon, and here is where he discovered his passion for painting the “Earth’s geography.”
Today Faegre is known as a master of various mediums; specifically watercolors, oils, acrylics, and pastels. He also has a broad range of work which covers landscapes, seascapes, wild life, still life, National Parks, portraits, trains, golf and golf courses. Faegre’s art also contains a highly charged subject matter, a dramatic use of light, and an extraordinary use of color.
Faegre has exhibited in Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, and San Bernardino County Museum to name a few. He has earned numerous awards and was named Master Pastelist by the Pastel Society of America.
