Eduardo Camoes Biography
Eduardo Camoes was born in Brazil. At the age of seventeen in 1973, Camoes moved to the United States where he was invited to stay with an American family. Camoes soon began a tour of the U.S. where he visited forty of the fifty states. Eventually, he joined the art association of Hemet Valley and the Arlington Art Guild of Riverside, California. It is in Hemet where Camoes states his “artistic life really started.” He also had the opportunity to work with other California artists and was able to capture beautiful artistic renditions of California landscapes. Ultimately, he hopes to begin researching and artistically portraying scenes of American history.
Today, Camoes is known for his colorful, detailed portraits of landscapes throughout California, and he is known considered Brazil’s leading artist of historical landmarks. Poulsen Galleries is proud to present Eduardo Camoes and hope to help add his work to your personal collection
