Jean Pierre Dubord Biography
Jean-Pierre Dubord lives in Rouen, where he was born in 1949. He began to paint in 1967 and had his first exhibition in his native city in 1970. Mr. Dubord's subjects are street scenes of Rouen as well as the neighboring villages and beach's of Normandy. His landscapes evoke in a particularly poetic manner the moods of the four seasons.
He received the first of numerous awards in 1982, the First Prize of the City of Canteleu. He has exhibited widely in France and become well known among collectors in both Europe and the United States. Dubord is listed in Benezit 2000.
