Jean Kevorkian was born in Paris in 1933. Kevorkian was excited by drawing from a young age, and he painted and drew whenever possible. This helped to develop a natural talent. As a result, he was able to establish a fruitful artistic career without the need for any formal training.
Always proud of his native Paris, he was often inspired by the landscapes he was surrounded by throughout his lifetime. Kevorkian's Impressionistic interpretations have captured the wonder and beauty found in nature. His subjects include the changing seasons, the glow of hills and valleys and the color and depth of streams, villages, beaches and the ever-changing sky.
